Aaron Smith is founder and CEO of Smith Company Financial Advisors; a Wealth Advisor and Retirement Plan Specialist, Aaron founded Smith Company in December 2002.

Southern California Small business owners know his company as a leader in wealth advice, specializing in retirement plan design and implementation. Aaron thrives on offering comprehensive wealth services to his clients, enabling them to meet their goals.

Prior to starting his own company, Aaron worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley (formerly Morgan Stanley Dean Witter) for several years. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he also worked as a commodities sales broker for A-Mark, a precious-metals trading company based in Santa Monica, California.

Aaron has passed the rigorous exams required to be fully licensed financial advisor, which includes the Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 66 (Uniform Securities Agent /Registered Investment Advisor), and Series 31 (Futures Managed Funds Agent). In addition, Aaron carries the licenses to offer long-term care, life, and disability insurance as appropriate to fulfill financial planning goals.

Aaron attended Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Graduate School and was trained as a financial advisor in the former World Trade Center in New York, where he studied professional investment management and retirement plans including 401(k) plans.

As a Morgan Stanley trainee, he received the outstanding performance award and received the annual Horizons award every year while at Morgan Stanley for sales excellence in Morgan Stanley Asset Management. Later, Aaron was an honored speaker to a class of new advisors from around the country. In addition, because Aaron excelled in financial planning he was honored by joining other Morgan Stanley advisors to receive further specialized training in advanced planning techniques and strategies.

Aaron holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He resides in his native southern California with his wife and four children Aaron likes to snow ski, takes family trips, and is an certified open water scuba diver.
